| Because in life you get what you pay for, and BALLISTIC RIBs are designed with no expense spared. As its name suggests, the BALLISTIC is fast, very fast, but it is also one of the safest and most stable RIB’s ever designed; from the unique reverse scalloped chines that guarantee speed and stability, to the deep V-shaped hull which ensures exhilarating lift and performance. BALLISTIC also have an immensely strong, triple part fiberglass structure, comprising hull chasis and deck moldings. This is bonded together with Lloyds of London approved, high quality resins. This is another feature, which sets it apart from ordinary RIBs. The Ballistic has proven its capabilities all over the world in many different ways: commercial, leisure, high performance sport and race use. It is built to handle most offshore sea conditions that keep other RIBs home. What makes the BALLISTIC different? All resins used in the production process of the BALLISTIC are Lloyds and Det Norske Veritas approved. Production of a BALLISTIC is commenced with Lloyds approved isothalic gel coat (which prevents osmosis in cases where the boat will be moored for long periods of time) and the highest grade of biaxial and triaxial stitched fiberglass matt. This hull layer is designed to enable the BALLISTIC to handle external forces from all angles and most magnitudes. The hull is strengthened with a secondary bonded ladder chassis which forms the backbone of the BALLISTIC with longitudinal stringers and transverse bulk heads. The deck, console and seats have been constructed with the same isothalic gel coat minimizing discolouring and optimizing weather wearing. Biaxial and triaxial stitched fiberglass matt as well as Lloyds approved resin are incorporated to complete these essential components of the BALLISTIC.The tubes or collar on the are manufactured from hypalon which is imported from France, to insure that the best quality hypalon is used in the manufacturing of the BALLISTIC. The upholstery is close cell foam preventing water ingress and is covered with a chemically deterred anti fungal nautalex marine vinyl which is also UV stable preventing discolouration from the son. All the stainless steel fittings used on the boat are made from grade 316 stainless steel with the highest corrosion resistance available on the market for marine use. |
